Compared with linear mechanical guides and crossed roller guides, the air bearing guide modules offer higher straightness, minimal angular deviation, and higher repeatability. Air bearing guides offer near-zero friction. Static friction is not generated even under maximum load conditions. The assembly is substantially maintenance-free and wear-free.
